In a heartbreaking turn of events, five people, including two children, lost their lives in two separate accidents in the Vizag region.

The first accident involved a family of seven from Bikkavolu village in East Godavari district, who were on a pilgrimage. While traveling from Simhachalam to Annavaram temple, their car had a flat tire on NH-16 near Sankaram village in Anakapalle district.

Tragically, the vehicle overturned, leading to the immediate deaths of three family members—P Satyavati (48), P Kumari (35), and three-year-old Abhiram. The four other occupants sustained injuries.

In the second incident, a speeding tipper truck collided with a bike near Duvvada in Vizag city, resulting in the immediate deaths of two individuals—K Venkata Prasad (30) and his niece, K Hasini.

The police have registered a case, and the bodies have been taken for postmortem examinations. The community mourns the loss of these precious lives in these tragic accidents.
