Useful day to day tips with easily available things at your home



When it comes to health and diet, it's easy to become perplexed. Even trained professionals often appear to hold competing viewpoints, making it difficult to determine what you should be doing to improve your health.

While we cannot visit a doctor for every slightest inconvenience, luckily for Indians our household kitchen holds medicines for numerous minor health inconveniences. Some of them are: 

Acidity:

Acidity can be a real discomfort after having a heavy, delicious meal. While there are a lot of antacids available in the market, one can suck a piece of clove after a meal if one cannot find an antacid outside. It helps in reducing in acidity problem.

Acne and blackheads

Acne and blackheads are one of the most common issues faced by every teenager. To help this, apply grated cucumber all over the face, eyes and neck for 10-15 minutes. It acts as a natural barrier and soothes irritated skin. It is very much beneficial for acne and blackheads

Cough

With every seasonal change, comes cough and cold. While we can manage it without treating it, sometimes the cough gets the best of us.

For severe cough, mix basil/tulsi juice with garlic juice and honey. A teaspoon of this mixture, if taken once every three hours can treat excessive coughing

For dry cough: Take 6 dates and boil it in ½ litre of milk for 25 minutes over low heat. Drink 3 cups a day.


Migraine

A migraine is a kind of headache that usually affects one side of the head and causes extreme throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation. It's commonly accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and excessive light and sound sensitivity.

Eating an apple on empty stomach in the morning relieves migraine pain. Continue eating an apple on empty stomach for a few days to see a difference in the pain caused by migraine.

Headaches

Headaches caused by dehydration during summer can be relaxed by drinking one glass of watermelon juice. Watermelon contains 92 per cent water, making it a fantastic choice for rehydrating. It's high in nutrients like potassium and magnesium, which might help relieve headaches. One glass a day works wonders on the body’s heat. Also 

Acidity and ulcers

One of the natural treatments for acidity is chewing a few basil/ tulsi leaves after any meal. It acts as an antacid by helping the body to absorb nutrients from the food and prevents the formation of reflux and the formation of ulcers. It also acts as a natural mouth freshener and helps to keep your gut health in check.
