Visakhapatnam: Golfer B. K. Kumar from Visakhapatnam emerged victorious in the 2nd Bali Indonesia International Junior Golf Championship held today, securing the international championship title.

With this win, Kumar has earned a place in the world rankings.

B. K. Kumar, who has achieved numerous victories in golf, has been a champion in the National Capital Region (NCR) for the past seven years and has secured a spot on the Indian Golf Union's (IGU) national merit list.

She has won several tournaments in Delhi and NCR and represented Delhi in the 2023 National Games.

Additionally, she has been ranked among the top 15 junior girl golfers in the national merit list announced by the Indian Golf Union.

For her outstanding performance in golf, B. K. Kumar has been selected for the prestigious 'Strive for Excellence' program conducted by the Delhi Golf Club for the past two years.

B. K. Kumar is the daughter of B. Srinivas Kumar, an Indian Revenue Service officer from Visakhapatnam.
