Visakhapatnam's Indira Gandhi Zoological Park saw a huge footfall on Vijayadashami, generating an impressive income of ₹5,76,762 in just one day. A total of 7,064 visitors flocked to the zoo, including 5,460 adults and 1,624 children, according to the zoo's in-charge curator, G. Mangamma.
The surge in visitors highlights the zoo's popularity during the festive season.
