The Visakhapatnam City Police Department and the Cyber Crime Department have together developed an online portal called Relief Tech Knowledge, which allows Vizag residents to file a complaint about a lost mobile phone in the city without going to the police station. This portal will make it easier for citizens to file complaints as soon as their phone is lost anywhere in the city.

Individuals can file a complaint by texting "Hi" to +91 9490617916, which will prompt an automated response with a QR code and link. When you click on the link, you will be automatically redirected to the web portal. Details such as the individual's name, IMEI number, the location where the phone was lost, local police station, address, and so on must be entered.

Vizag City police at that location will receive the complaint details directly from the portal, and they will file a complaint at that station to find the lost mobile. After locating and recovering the phone, the police will deliver it to the individual's address mentioned in the portal.
