Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha MP M. Sribharat has set a bold target of creating one lakh job opportunities in Visakhapatnam, aligning with the Andhra Pradesh government's ambitious plan to generate 20 lakh jobs statewide. This announcement came during an engaging session with members of the CII Visakhapatnam zonal council on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sribharat outlined his vision following discussions that highlighted crucial infrastructure challenges and identified potential growth sectors for the city. The sectors under focus included solar manufacturing, biotechnology, data centers, automotive and electronics research and development, conventional manufacturing, and port-led industrial development.
