Weapons Seized by Vizag Police in Suspicious Incident
In a recent development, the Visakhapatnam city police have confiscated a revolver, a pistol, and two live bullets from an individual, shedding light on a potentially dangerous situation.
According to Joint Commissioner of Police K Fakeerappa, the incident unfolded last year when a person from Jharkhand attempted to book a ticket to Bangalore at the Sri Krishna Travel office.
The individual's suspicious behavior raised concerns, prompting Siva Nagaraju, an employee at the travel office, to inquire about the person's details.
Startled by the inquiry, the individual fled the scene, inadvertently leaving behind two guns that fell from their bag in the process. Nagaraju, upon discovering the weapons, took it upon himself to secure them.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police swiftly conducted a raid, resulting in the seizure of the firearms.
The Joint Commissioner emphasized that a case has been registered, and investigations are underway to unravel the full extent of the situation.
