Visakhapatnam: The allocation of wine shops in Visakhapatnam was successfully completed on Monday through a manual draw of lots held at the VUDA Children's Arena.
The process was overseen by District Collector MN Harendhira Prasad, Joint Collector K Mayur Ashok, and officials from the excise department.
A total of 4,139 applications were received for the 155 available shops in the district, and the allocation was conducted as per the excise department’s gazette.
