A robbery has been reported at Visakhapatnam's Vijayadurga Temple

On Saturday night, thieves stole a hundi and gold ornaments present on the deity from Vijayadurga temple in PM Palem's Tailors Colony.
The stolen gold ornaments are estimated to weigh around 35 grams, but determining the value of the cash would not be possible.

The robbers gained access to the temple by breaking the locks. After the robbery, a local saw them leaving on bikes and called the police at 100. After receiving information from a local, the PM Police conducted a search and discovered the empty hundi in a remote area. A search is currently underway.
