Visakhapatnam: Chhath Puja, a significant festival traditionally celebrated in North Indian states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, will be held at Rama Krishna Beach in Visakhapatnam on November 7.
At a media conference on Tuesday, Visakha Chhath Puja Samithi representatives - Subash Chandra Rai, Prakash Bhartia, Vikas Bhartia, and Anand Pathak - shared details of the event, which will take place on the beach opposite Panduranga Swamy Temple at 4 p.m. on November 7. The ceremony includes worship of the Sun God at both sunrise and sunset. This marks the sixth year the Samithi has organized Chhath Puja in Visakhapatnam, fostering cultural unity and community spirit.
