Coastal Clean-up Drive Receives Enthusiastic Participation

Visakhapatnam: In support of the national 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign, the Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) organized a successful clean-up drive at Kambalakonda trekking path on Sunday.
Port employees, VPA sports members, sports schoolchildren, and District Forest Department staff participated in the event. After a trekking expedition, they worked together to clear litter and preserve the area’s natural beauty.
Participants were awarded certificates for their efforts, underscoring VPA’s dedication to environmental sustainability.
Senior VPA officials, including Secretary T Venu Gopal and Chief Mechanical Engineer Harikrishna, also joined, emphasizing interdepartmental cooperation for a cleaner environment.
