Empowering Communities: Special Grievance Program for Land-Related Issues at Visakhapatnam Police Stations
In a proactive measure to address land-related grievances, the city police chief of Visakhapatnam, Dr. A Ravi Shankar, has announced a special grievance program scheduled to take place at 21 police stations across the city.
This initiative aims to provide an accessible platform for citizens to report cases of land grabbing, forgery, trespassing, or attempts to encroach on government lands.
Scheduled for March 6th from 10:30 am to 1 pm, the program will see the deployment of joint commissioners of police, deputy commissioners of police, additional DCPs, and ACP rank officers at each police station.
These designated officers will serve as in-charge personnel to receive complaints directly from the victims.
The program offers an opportunity for individuals affected by land-related disputes to engage with law enforcement officials and seek timely intervention and resolution.
By facilitating direct communication between citizens and authorities, the initiative aims to promote transparency, accountability, and swift action in addressing grievances.
Residents are encouraged to avail themselves of this opportunity to voice their concerns and seek assistance from the police in matters pertaining to land disputes.
Such initiatives not only empower communities but also strengthen the bond between law enforcement agencies and the public, fostering a safer and more harmonious society.
