G Gopinadh, a guy born in a lower middle-class family reached heights now. Gopinadh’s father, Suribabu is an auto driver in Visakhapatnam. Suribabu’s family is dependent on the amount that he earns by driving auto since the past 25 years.

He is now proud to see his son achieve something big. Gopinadh’s parents are proud to see him as a flying officer in Indian Air Force. G Gopinadh was commissioned as a flying officer in the IAF in a graduation ceremony held at the Air Force Academy at Dundigal in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Suribabu asked Gopinadh to pursue engineering. He is ready to make his son an engineer by even procuring loan for his studies.

But Gopinadh had some other plans. He had dreamt of joining defence forces just like his grandfather. His grandfather worked as a sepoy in Indian Army.

Gopinadh worked towards his dream, joined IAF as an airman. But he did not let his aspiration away to become an officer in the IAF. He completed degree and post-graduation in distance mode from Andhra University. He got a promotion as cryptographer in 2020. His ultimate dream to become an officer in IAF came true when he cleared the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination.
