GVL Narasimha Rao Advocates Resolution of RINL Issues

Visakhapatnam: BJP Member of Parliament, GVL Narasimha Rao, recently held a crucial meeting with Nagendra Nath Sinha, the Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Steel, to address various concerns plaguing the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL).

During the meeting, GVL Narasimha Rao was accompanied by members of the Steel Executives Association (SEA) from RINL, including General Secretary KVD Prasad and other representatives.

The primary issue brought to the forefront was the long-standing matter of pending promotions for RINL executives, a situation that has persisted since 2019 due to delays in finalizing the promotion policy by the company's board.

Earlier, GVL Narasimha Rao had met with RINL executives in Visakhapatnam to better understand the challenges they were facing. He informed the Steel Secretary that executives have not been receiving time-bound promotions since 2021, which has become a pressing concern.

In addition to addressing the promotion issue, the MP raised other critical matters. He discussed the supply of iron ore from the Bacheli and Kirandul iron ore mines owned by the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) in Chhattisgarh.

Rao also highlighted the challenging financial conditions faced by RINL and explored potential avenues to improve its financial status, aiming to benefit both the employees and the broader public interest.

GVL Narasimha Rao expressed that the Steel Secretary, who had recently visited RINL, responded positively to these issues and assured his support to the company and its employees.

This proactive engagement by the MP reflects his commitment to addressing the challenges faced by RINL and finding constructive solutions for the betterment of the organization and its workforce.
