Major Arrest in Vizag: Cyber-Slavery Racket Busted Involving International Trafficking

In a significant breakthrough, Vizag police have arrested a key suspect involved in an international cyber-slavery racket that trafficked over 100 Indians to Laos. The accused, Mukhesh from Anakapalle, was detained for allegedly luring unemployed youth with false job promises and facilitating their illegal transport to Laos via Thailand.

According to police reports, once these individuals reached Laos, they were forcibly held and coerced into participating in organized cybercrime operations operated by Chinese syndicates. Victims were subjected to harsh conditions and forced to work long hours in fraudulent online activities targeting global victims.

Ankita, believed to be a primary accomplice who coordinated many of the trafficking operations, has been identified, and a lookout notice has been issued for her immediate arrest. Authorities believe that the duo worked as part of a larger network that preyed on job-seeking youth, exploiting their vulnerability with lucrative overseas job offers.

The Vizag police are now collaborating with national and international agencies to dismantle the wider trafficking network and bring all involved perpetrators to justice. Officials have urged citizens to remain cautious about overseas job offers from unauthorized agents and report any suspicious activity.

This case underscores the growing threat of international human trafficking and the need for heightened awareness and vigilance among job seekers.
