In a recent crackdown on drug trafficking, Visakhapatnam city police intercepted a bus near Aganampudi and arrested two individuals, Nagaraju and Bharati, both hailing from Karnataka.
The authorities seized a significant haul of 14 kg of dry cannabis from the suspects during the operation.
This successful operation marks a dent in the illicit drug trade network operating in the region.
In a separate incident, the Anakapalle police also made strides in combating drug trafficking by confiscating approximately 100 kg of dry cannabis.
Several individuals involved in the illegal trade were apprehended as part of this operation.
