On Monday, railway contract workers in Visakhapatnam, affiliated with the CITU, organized a demonstration outside the DRM office at Dondaparthy.
The protestors, armed with banners and vocal slogans, rallied for enhanced job security, the enforcement of minimum wage standards, and the implementation of labor laws.
The demonstration saw prominent participation from CITU district general secretary R.K.S.V. Kumar, along with union leaders M. Rambabu, O. Appa Rao, Srinivasa Rao, Venkateswara Rao, U.V. Raju, Venkata Rao, and Mouli, who voiced their support for the workers' demands.
