Review Meeting Held for Smooth Conduct of Supplementary Exams



 A coordination meeting was held at the Visakhapatnam collectorate on Tuesday, led by district Joint Collector K Mayur Ashok, to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming 10th class and intermediate (10+2) advanced supplementary exams.

The Joint Collector emphasized the need for a seamless execution of the exams, which are set to commence on May 24 for class X students.

During the meeting, Ashok directed officials to ensure that students do not face any difficulties and that basic amenities such as electricity, drinking water, and toilets are adequately provided at all exam centers. 

A total of 4,836 students are expected to take these supplementary exams across the district, comprising 2,578 regular students and 2,258 private candidates.


The exams will be conducted at 20 designated centers. Specifically, 2,289 students will appear for the 10th class exams, while 2,547 students will attend the intermediate exams.

Furthermore, the practical public exams for intermediate students are scheduled to be held from June 10 to 12, with nine centers identified for these exams.

The Joint Collector expressed his commitment to ensuring the smooth conduct of the 10th class advanced supplementary exams, the open school 10th class exams, and the intermediate supplementary exams.

He stressed the importance of timely and efficient execution of the responsibilities assigned to the authorities involved in the process.
