Unveiling "PM Suraj": A Visionary Initiative for Effective Governance in Visakhapatnam

District Collector Dr. A. Mallikharjuna has revealed an ambitious initiative named "PM Suraj," scheduled for March 13, aimed at meticulously evaluating the implementation of various central government schemes administered under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

This groundbreaking program will facilitate direct interactions with scheme beneficiaries, providing invaluable insights into their experiences and challenges.

The collector emphasized that "PM Suraj" will be a nationwide endeavor, simultaneously conducted across 510 districts, showcasing the government's commitment to transparency and accountability in governance.

Notably, the program includes the simultaneous approval of loans for one lakh individuals, underlining its scale and impact.

In the Visakhapatnam district, the program will unfold at the District Collectorate VC Hall, serving as a pivotal platform for engaging with beneficiaries and stakeholders.

To ensure the success of the event, district officials have been tasked with compiling beneficiary details and facilitating the distribution of essential items such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits for sanitation workers and Namaste Ayushman cards for scheme beneficiaries.

Additionally, bankers have been urged to streamline loan processing to expedite assistance to beneficiaries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually interact with beneficiaries and borrowers of schemes under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment during the program, scheduled for 4:00 pm on March 13.

Dr. A. Mallikharjuna stressed that checks will be distributed to borrowers during the interaction, highlighting the tangible outcomes of government initiatives.

The announcement underscores the comprehensive efforts being undertaken to ensure the success of the "PM Suraj" program, reflecting the administration's unwavering commitment to effective governance and citizen welfare in the Visakhapatnam district.
