Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) is gearing up to kickstart 'Special Campaign 3.0' on October 1, a comprehensive initiative that aligns with the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways' nationwide program running from October 2 to 31.

The primary objective of this special campaign is to enhance the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the port premises. To achieve this goal, the VPA will initiate various activities across all its departments.

These activities encompass identifying locations for cleanliness campaigns, planning for effective space management, beautification of office spaces, and identifying and disposing of scrap materials to create a more conducive work environment.

In addition to the cleanliness drive, the campaign will also focus on several other crucial aspects, including sorting references from State governments, addressing inter-ministerial references, resolving parliamentary assurances pending for over three months, handling PMO references, simplifying rules and processes, addressing public grievances and appeals, and conducting a comprehensive review of record management and files.

VPA Secretary T Venu Gopal emphasized that this campaign will involve all departments and will commence at the dock area, symbolizing a concerted effort to elevate the standards of cleanliness and efficiency throughout the Visakhapatnam Port Authority.

This initiative reflects the VPA's commitment to fostering a cleaner, more organized, and responsive working environment for its employees and stakeholders alike.
