Vishakhapatnam CP Takes Action on 94-Year-Old Woman's Land Dispute Complaint
The Commissioner of Police in Vishakhapatnam, A. Ravi Shankar, demonstrated personal commitment by promptly addressing a complaint lodged by a 94-year-old woman from Yendada on Friday.
The elderly woman, identified as A.U. Bhaksara Devi, raised concerns during the 'Dial your CP' programme, alleging attempts by miscreants to encroach upon her land in Yendada.
Taking heed of the complaint, Commissioner Shankar, accompanied by Joint CP K. Fakeerappa and other officials, conducted an on-site inspection of the disputed land at Yendada on Friday afternoon.
They engaged in discussions with the Assistant Commissioner of Police and the Inspector concerned, urging them to take immediate measures to resolve the issue.
Expressing her gratitude, Ms. Devi appreciated Mr. Shankar for personally intervening in her case.
It's noteworthy that the police commissioner has instituted a special grievance programme, 'Dial Your CP,' specifically catering to the concerns of elderly individuals.
This programme operates from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the 1st and 15th of each month, aiming to provide direct access to senior citizens seeking assistance.
