Vizag Collector Reviews Development Progress on Prasadam Scheme Projects
Vizag Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad conducted a comprehensive site inspection on Saturday to assess the progress of various development projects being undertaken under the Prasadam scheme at Simhachalam. The projects, which include a shopping complex, queue complex, tourist information center, and parks, are being developed with a total investment of Rs 54 crore. The Collector emphasized the importance of timely completion, aiming to ensure enhanced facilities for the devotees visiting the area.
During his visit, Collector Prasad closely examined the ongoing work on the Kalyana Mandapam atop the hill and reviewed the modernization efforts at the bus stand adjacent to the queue complex. He specifically urged officials to expedite the completion of the tourist information center and shopping complex to meet the established project deadlines.
After the site inspection, Prasad convened a meeting with project officials to address any challenges, stressing the need for a coordinated effort to complete the developments as planned. Temple Executive Officer Trinatha Rao provided a detailed briefing on the current and upcoming projects, using a map of Simhachalam Devasthanam to illustrate the designated areas of improvement and progress under the Prasadam scheme.
