The city of Vizag is making grand preparations to host one of the largest Yoga Day celebrations in the country on June 21, 2025. Under the banner of "Mega Yogandhra Yoga Day," officials are aiming to bring together an unprecedented 500,000 participants along the scenic stretch between RK Beach and Bheemili.

The event, being coordinated by state and local authorities, promises to be a landmark occasion for both the city and yoga enthusiasts across the country. To accommodate the massive turnout, detailed logistical arrangements are already underway:

• 3,500 special buses being arranged to ferry participants from various districts to the venue.

• 1,400 bio-toilets installed across the event stretch for public convenience.
