In a remarkable feat, the Visakhapatnam Port Authority has set a new record in cargo handling, achieving a staggering volume of 50 million metric tonnes within a span of just 228 days during the financial year 2023-24.
This achievement surpasses the port's previous record, where a similar handling volume was accomplished in 251 days during the financial year 2022-23.
