Vizag traffic police impose restrictions in the city due to MILAN-2022
The city police have imposed traffic restrictions in the city in view of the currently ongoing MILAN-2022. Vehicle movement is restricted on the roads leading to the beach road as the operational demonstration and city parade are scheduled to be held as part of MILAN-2022.
Special place has been allotted for parking of the vehicles of those attending the event. The restrictions will be imposed starting from 3 PM to 7:30 PM on February 26th and 27th that is Saturday and Sunday.
No vehicle without valid pass will be allowed in the beach road stretch during these restrictions imposed timings. The stretches include Collectorate Junction to Naval Coastal Battery (NCB), NCB to Park Hotel, Siripuram Junction to Park Hotel Junction via Chinna Waltair, Siripuram Junction to NTR Statue Beach Road via All India Radio (AIR) Junction, Siripuram Junction to Pandurangapuram Junction via AIR Junction, St. Aloysius School to NCB, Pandimetta Junction to Novotel Hotel, Century Club Junction to Novotel Hotel Junction.
The traffic diversions will be taken depending on the traffic and crowd movement at Rushikonda Junction, Jodugullapalem Junction, MVP double Road, Maddilapalem Junction, Tycoon Hotel Junction, Assilmetta Junction, Gollalapalem Junction, Pandimetta Junction, Jagadamba Junction, Town Kotha Road, Collectorate Junction and Z.P Hall Junction.
RTC buses are also going to be affected by these traffic restrictions. Buses coming from Bheemili towards Beach road will be diverted from Kamat hotel junction. City buses from Dwaraka bus station to beach road will drop passengers at Jagadamba junction.
