The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, underscores the pivotal role of quality education in shaping the future of the state.

He emphasizes that education must lead to tangible employment opportunities to be meaningful. Consequently, the government has initiated substantial reforms in the education system to offer job-oriented, high-quality education to students and youth across the state.

Chief Minister Jagan inaugurated the 'Cascading Skills Paradigm- Bavitha' program organized by the AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC). The initiative aims to bridge the gap between industry demands and educational institutions by equipping students with essential skills for employment.

He launched a dedicated web portal and mobile app for the program, highlighting the success of a pilot project where 26,000 out of 53,000 students secured employment after receiving skill training.

The government's educational reforms span from primary schools to colleges, introducing English as a medium of instruction, subject-specific teachers, and transitioning from CBSE to IB curriculum.

 Additionally, bilingual textbooks, digital classrooms, and tablet distributions enhance the overall education quality. The curriculum now integrates online verticals, certified subjects, four-year honors degrees, and mandatory internships, with courses from prestigious universities like Harvard, MIT, LFC, and LBS.

Furthermore, the government has revamped ITIs, Polytechnic colleges, and other educational institutions, collaborating with 158 industries and 208 institutions to train students and facilitate placements.

Skill development hubs, skill colleges, and a university have been established to align education with industry requirements, fostering employment opportunities for youth.

Several students commended the chief minister for his proactive measures, expressing gratitude for securing meaningful employment opportunities through APSSDC and similar initiatives.

The concerted efforts of the chief minister have significantly reduced unemployment and empowered the youth of Andhra Pradesh with promising prospects.
