Inspector T. Kalyani of Disha Woman Police Station Wins Silver Medal in All India Yoga Competition



Inspector T. Kalyani, stationed at Disha Woman Police Station in Vishakhapatnam, has brought honor to the police force by clinching the Silver Medal in the 72nd All India Yoga Competitions held in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The competition, spanning from February 26th to March 2nd, 2024, witnessed participants from across the nation showcasing their prowess in the ancient art of yoga.

Kalyani's remarkable achievement was met with commendation from the Director General of Police (DGP), who expressed pride in her dedication and skill. Furthermore, the Commissioner of Police (CP) personally felicitated her for her outstanding performance.


This isn't Kalyani's first stride in the arena of yoga competitions. Her consistent excellence has not only brought recognition to herself but also to the police department she represents. As a token of appreciation  contributions to the field of yoga,  12 advance increments and a cash reward of 12 lakhs from the police department.
