King Kohli's sensational knock stopped the UPI transactions

We witnessed a nail-biting thriller against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday. At one point, it briefly appeared to be impossible for India to win this match.
However, it was Virat Kohli's sensational unbeaten 82 off 53 balls that propelled India to victory. The MCG was packed with over 90,000 fans, this match was streamed by over 1.8 million people on Disney Hotstar, and crores of people watched it on television.

Due to the festive shopping for Diwali, UPI transactions in India increased dramatically beginning Sunday morning but began to fall after the match started at 1.30 p.m. A high decline in transactions occurred during the match's final overs when Virat was playing a sensational inning in his T20 career.

This drop in UPI transactions indicated that people preferred to watch King Kohli smashing the  Pakistani blowers for boundaries and sixes over festive shopping. Following India's victory over Pakistan, the transaction began to recover.
