Manipal Hospital Launches Advanced CTVS Clinic in Visakhapatnam

Manipal Hospital has launched a dedicated Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) Clinic in Visakhapatnam.

The new clinic will provide specialised care for heart, lung, and vascular diseases under one roof.

Officials said the initiative aims to improve access to advanced cardiac and vascular treatment for patients in North Coastal Andhra.

Manipal Hospital, Visakhapatnam, has launched a dedicated Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) Clinic to strengthen specialised healthcare services in the region. The clinic is designed to provide comprehensive diagnosis, consultation, and surgical care for patients suffering from heart, lung, and vascular disorders, reducing the need for patients to travel to other metropolitan cities for advanced treatment.

The newly established CTVS Clinic offers treatment for a wide range of conditions, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congenital heart defects, aortic disorders, peripheral vascular diseases, and thoracic conditions. Equipped with modern medical technology and supported by experienced specialists, the clinic aims to deliver advanced surgical care while ensuring better patient outcomes.

Hospital officials said the clinic will provide personalised treatment plans, early diagnosis, minimally invasive procedures where appropriate, and comprehensive post-operative care. The facility is expected to improve access to high-quality cardiovascular and thoracic healthcare for residents of Visakhapatnam and neighbouring districts.

The launch reflects the growing demand for super-speciality healthcare services in the region. Officials believe the CTVS Clinic will further strengthen Visakhapatnam's position as a major healthcare destination by offering advanced cardiac and vascular treatment closer to patients' homes.
