Minor Boy Murdered and Body Dumped in Sea at Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbour



Visakhapatnam: A grim discovery sent shockwaves through the community as the decomposed body of a 16-year-old boy was found near the fishing harbour, located within the jurisdiction of the One Town Police Station, on Friday evening, September 22, in Visakhapatnam.

Local residents were the first to spot the body, wrapped in a plastic cover, floating in the waters. They promptly alerted the police to this distressing find.


Upon arrival at the scene, the local police began their investigation, suspecting that the minor boy had fallen victim to a gruesome crime and had been disposed of in the sea.

The deceased has been identified as Chinna, a 16-year-old resident of Golla Veedhi, One Town.

Initial inquiries by the police revealed that Chinna had been brutally attacked by unidentified assailants, who had slit his throat.

Subsequently, his lifeless body was concealed within a plastic cover and cast into the sea. Inspector Revathamma of the One Town Police Station has registered a case, and a thorough investigation into this disturbing incident is currently underway.
