A tragic road accident occurred at Boravanipalem in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam, resulting in the loss of two lives on Tuesday.

The incident occurred when two individuals were traveling on a two-wheeler and were struck by a lorry transporting LPG cylinders.

The victims, identified as Mani and Niranjan, residents of Neelapuvari Street near Maddilapalem, were among four students returning from Vizianagaram after visiting the Goddess Pydithalli temple.

While on their journey, a buffalo unexpectedly obstructed their path.

In an attempt to avoid a collision, the riders swerved, ultimately losing control and coming under the wheels of the approaching lorry.

Tragically, Mani and Niranjan succumbed to their injuries on the spot.

The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and a case has been registered to ascertain further details surrounding the accident.
