Visakhapatnam – The Visakhapatnam zone, encompassing the entire state of Andhra Pradesh, has significantly bolstered its GST revenue, contributing ₹24,851 crore in the fiscal year 2023-24.
The number of central tax assessees in Andhra Pradesh has surged, reaching 1.89 lakh taxpayers in 2023-24, marking a notable increase.
This growth reflects the expanding tax base and compliance within the region.
